Like wow...

Who do I talk ta for todaya? I know wer'e gonna go meet our PARENT GURDIAN person but we havent yet...

and then my mom is sora kinda DEAAAD. ;(
I miss her alooott.

Have you tried persuading her with a strong argument, accompanied by supporting details? You could tell her about why you wish to go, what it could teach you, and reassure her that you will be safe. That does include amounts of information you must acquire.

Of course, getting her intoxicated and then asking is always an option, but I do not suggest it.
